How are your caregivers selected?
Our criteria for perspective applicants are quite demanding and selective. All must be over 21 years of age, fully literate in English (reading, writing, speaking) and all must have prior verifiable caregiver experience. The vast majority of our applicants are mothers, grandmothers or college students.
What is Creative’s screening process for applicants?
All perspective applicants must complete a comprehensive, “in person” one on one interview with a Creative placement counselor, at our offices. All information is carefully evaluated and validated. The applicant’s furnished references are exhaustively verified for accuracy. DMV and background checks are performed.
Will I have the opportunity to meet the caregiver before hiring?
Absolutely! No caregiver is placed with a family without a personal “in home” interview with the family. Only when you are totally comfortable and satisfied with the applicant is a placement considered complete.
How does Creative’s fee work?
When a client is ready to retain a caregiver from Creative, a one-time placement fee for that individual is paid to us. Creative receives no ongoing residual fees while the caregiver is in the client’s employ. After an initial placement fee is paid, the caregiver is then paid directly by the client.
What if I’m not satisfied with my caregiver after hiring?
Creative Rent-A-Sitter guarantees every placement made. A qualified replacement caregiver will be provided at no additional fee within the agreed to guarantee period.
